Rotaract District Conference cum First Step to Rotaract was held at the City University of Hong Kong on 1 March 2009.

District Conference aims to celebrate Rotaract success in Rotary year 2008-2009.  First time ever, the Conference this year adopted a variety show style of presentation.  Rotaract clubs showcased their successful works and presented significant projects to all the participants by singing, dancing, drama or fashion show. 300 Rotaractors and Rotarians joined the event.  The atmosphere was engaging and spirits were very high.

First Step to Rotaract is a training session for the 2009-2010 board members of the University-based Rotaract Clubs. They attended this training session to prepare for the coming Rotary year. Apart from the roles and responsibilities session for presidents and directors, DRC KL Cheng shared the topic on 'How to conduct an effective meeting' to the benefit of all the participants.  PDRR Eddie Yau also shared on 'Protocol and address' and PDRR Vincent Lui focused on 'Promotional Materials of Rotaract'. (Please find the powerpoint files of these three sharings below.)  The event achieved a full house attendance with 186 Rotaractors joining the training.
